Sewing Social

Join us for our first ever sewing social at the Jessica Purdie Ltd Lincoln-based studio.

Studio address: Jessica Purdie Ltd, Unit 4, Checkpoint Court, Lincoln, LN6 3PW with FREE parking on site.

This session is open to all abilities with the aim to bring the sewing community together, aiming to inspire and connect individuals for an evening of laughter and patterns.

The social sessions will be hosted by Jessica Purdie Ltd’s Seamstress, Christa and Designer, Jessica Purdie.

Jess is an award-winning local Designer and Dress-Maker, who owns Prikil Pear and Jessica Purdie Ltd, working with 150+ bridal clients a year and servicing the Midlands for all alterations and commission-based occasionwear projects. 

Christa is seamstress with an interest in all things handmade clothing with over 20 years experience.

The options are endless within this session - bring your project and sewing machine and meet other sewists.

In the sessions, you’ll connect with like-minded creatives, exchanged ideas and gained valuable tips and techniques from experienced designers and seamstresses.

Whether you are starting a new project or bringing a current one to life, you'll walk away with fresh motivation, new knowledge, and a deeper sense of community. 

What's included:

• Group tutoring with local designer, Jessica Purdie or Christa.
• Access to couture-level sewing studio and equipment
• Please note, you will be required to bring your own machine, equipment and fabric you intend to use.
