This September, we are featuring Oriana from Ivory Dusk as our maker of the month!
Ivory Dusk was born from a love of creativity and the belief that the best things happen when we embrace the unexpected. Originally launched in 2016, the brand took a little pause in 2018 when Oriana became a mum and headed off to university. In 2023, she returned to her craft with a fresh spark, creating fun and playful designs across clothing, prints, greetings cards, and jewellery.
Some words from Oriana about her business:
“This is my full-time job after working part-time as a mental health support worker alongside this business. The business was originally inspired by my previous job; it was a creative outlet in the evenings and weekends to a really mentally challenging job and from my own art therapy that I had previously undertaken. I'm all for making people laugh, seeing people have a giggle as they walk past on market days, having a chat and bringing out their inner child. Life is too short to be serious all the time!”
